Is TOAD compatible with Teradata? - response (3) by jim22

Toad for Data Analysts has been renamed to Toad Data Point and works great with Teradata.  I have been using these products for a few years now and am looking forward to the next release.
For the Teradata connections I use the native Teradata.NET 14.10.0 client.  TDP can also connect using ODBC and provides all the built in features familiar to Toad users such as the query builder and integrated data browse, filtering, data pivots and graphing.  I also use import/export to pass from and to Teradata with XML, CSV and Excel.
An added bonus to this product is the ability to join across databases with an ODBC connection.  Not just one TD platform to another, such as joining dev DB with test DB in same query, but also to Oracle or other ODBC connections.  This can be hand-coded or use the drag and drop query builder, but all sources must be set up on ODBC for that.
