CURRENT_TIME - TIME '00:00:00' hour to second giving wrong output - forum topic by dashing201

Hi
 
I am trying below SQL:
SEL CURRENT_TIME, ((CURRENT_TIME - time '00:00:00') hour to second(0)) ;
 
Output is : 09:23:56 | 8:23:56
Doubt is why the second column is having one hour less ?
Please explain .
