Bteq is not working on my system - forum topic by Mani-sh

Hi,
I installed Bteq on my system then i tried to logon by following comment
.logon <machinename>/<username>
<password>
I'm getting the below message

*** Logon successfully completed.

*** Teradata Database Release is 14.10i.00.394

*** Teradata Database Version is 14.10i.00.394

*** Transaction Semantics are BTET.

*** Session Character Set Name is 'ASCII'.

*** Teradata Multi-System Management logging active.
 
But there after i'm not able to type anything and the window becomes inactive and forcing me to close this window.
Could you please help to come out from this?
